The World of Film

What Am I Passionate About?

The world of film sums up everything I’m passionate about. Watching characters on the screen, becoming attached to them and watching their story. For a time you become part of their world and you lose yourself in the story. You then watch the actors and actresses grow and become well known in the world of film, yet you can say, I followed them from the beginning. There are always going to be other people who enjoy the same films as you and therefore you build a community of people with the same interests, who you can talk to and enjoy their company because of your mutual love of the film. You become inspired by the actors and actresses that you see on screen and for me, even more so because I aspire to be like them as I continue to learn the art of acting. When you see these actors and actresses go on to win awards, you feel proud because you are supporting them and want them to do well, perhaps because you see part of them in you and see who and what you want to be in them. 

In a industry that is hard to succeed in, it is of the utmost importance to have hope and inspiration provided by people that you aspire to be like. Watching people that are involved in a industry you love helps motivate you to keep working at what you are doing, in the hope that on day you can succeed like they have. Plus, even if I don't succeed, I will always love film and all aspects that come along with it, as it is a very broad term. Watching films that I enjoy or feel strongly about will always be something I enjoy, whether it is my profession or not.
